Holiday Contest 

There will be between 3 top winners that will receive a sign and gift card and honorable mentions will receive a sign in their yard for the month of December as outlined below.

- Deadline Date for entries: 12/21/2023

- Deadline Time for entries: 7 p.m.

Judging:

- Judging will take place at 7-8 p.m. 12/21/2023

- Judges’ decisions are final. 

- Judges will be unbiased and include non-SCE homeowners. 

- Winners will be formally notified either by email on December 22, 2023 or mail by within the following week

- Signs depicting winning positions (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) will be placed in the winner’s yards and financial awards in the form of HOA  gift card for the month of January or monetarily equivalent gift cards in the following amounts will be awarded to winners:

 1st place $75 gift card

 2nd place $50 gift card

                3rd place $25 gift card

- Must be in compliance with Silver Creek Estates fees and guidelines. 

- Must have attractive landscape:  neatly mowed & edged, pruned & trimmed shrubs & trees, healthy plants 

- Yard free of debris & clutter

- Design of visible front yard decorations 
- Tasteful decorations 
- Christmas Lights (lights must be on at time of judging to be considered)
- Good balance
- Aesthetic appeal 
- Selections will be subjective to the judge’s preferences. There is no point system.

Judges:  Judges can be anyone above the age of eighteen who is not a resident of SCE. All homes in the HOA are eligible to be considered if the homeowner is current on HOA dues and any other assessments made by the HOA. The homes of BOD members may be considered if the homeowner is not participating in the selection process.
